Professor Martin Puchner spoke with the Harvard Gazette about his new book, “The Written World: The Power of Stories to Shape People, History, and Civilization,” which looks at how literature has shaped history. This book is an extension of his HarvardX online courses Ancient Masterpieces of World Literature and Modern Masterpieces of World Literature.
